2. How much should I apply for?

The standard loan application amount is K111,167.00 which includes the vehicle cost, loan insurance and transfer fee.

If you can make a part payment towards the vehicle purchase price, you may apply for financing for only the remaining balance, subject to CareCoop's normal lending and affordability requirements.

3. What is the interest rate?

The Vehicle Loan attracts 1.8% flat interest per month.

4. How long can I take to repay?

You can repay the Vehicle Loan over a period of up to 24 months.

Even if your employment contract is shorter than 24 months, you may still access the facility for up to 24 months, subject to CareCoop's normal lending and affordability requirements.

5. What savings cover do I need?

A 20% savings cover is required based on the amount requested.

For the standard application amount of K111,167.00 the required savings cover is K22,233.40.

6. Is insurance included?

Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance is mandatory.

Through CareCoop's insurance broker, Minet, members can access discounted comprehensive insurance at approximately 3% of the vehicle price.

For the K111,167.00 vehicle, this is approximately K3,335.01. The premium can be paid in cash or financed through the Vehicle Insurance Loan. Contact CareCoop to arrange the insurance.

7. Who owns the vehicle?

CareCoop will remain the absolute owner of the vehicle until the Vehicle Loan is fully repaid. The vehicle serves as security for the loan.

This applies whether you finance the full purchase price or make a part payment and finance only the balance.

8. How many vehicles are available?

The initial promotion targets 50 Honda Fit vehicles.

9. Can I choose another vehicle?

The initial promotion is specifically for the Honda Fit through ZamAuto. Other vehicle models and vendors may be considered in future.
